SINGAPORE

 

 Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices closed higher in all categories except the open category at the end of the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (March 8).

 

Premiums for small cars (up to 1,600cc & 97kW) or fully electric cars with output of up to 110kW went up by 1.67 per cent from S$86,556 to S$88,000.

 

For larger cars (above 1600cc or 97kW) or fully electric cars with output over 110kW, premiums went up from S$115,001 in the last bidding exercise to S$115,501.

 

COE prices for goods vehicles and buses rose by 3.65 per cent to S$91,101.

 

In the motorcycle category, premiums went up to S$12,390, compared to S$12,189 in the last bidding exercise.

 

And in the open category, which can be used for any type of vehicles except motorcycles, premiums fell by 1.7 per cent from a record high of S$118,001 to S$116,000.

 

In total, 2,179 bids were received for a quota of 1,590 available COEs.

Category D (Motorcycles): S$12,390 (up from S$12,189)

 

Category E (Open category): S$116,000 (down from S$118,001)
