Yesterday afternoon, His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik, Chairman of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Board of Governors graced the 30th times Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony in conjunction with the 30th Anniversary of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. The ceremony was held at Dewan An-Naura, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Building Complex in the capital.

Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by the Minister of Religious Affairs as member of Yayasan's Committee of Governors; the Second Minister of Foreign Affairs as  member of Yayasan's Committee of Governors, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence as Chairman of the Yayasan Board of Directors; and the Minister of Health as Deputy Chairman of the Yayasan Board of Directors, and Doctor Nor Imtihan binti Haji Abdul Razak, Permanent Secretary for Planning, Land Use and Environment at the Ministry of Development AS Acting Managing Director of Yayasan.

The reading of Takhtim Al-Quran was led by Awang Ahmad Rithaudin bin Haji Sabtu, Officer of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. 30 officers and staff of Yayasan have completed their respective Al-Quran readings.

Doa Khatam and Doa Selamat were read by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim.
