His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah stresses that Muslims should be closer to Al-Qur'an in the high technology era because there is no excuse to delay endearing oneself to Al-Qur'an. Hence, His Majesty urges Muslims to be determined to familiarise themselves with Al-Quran so that the Muslim ummah and country will always be inspired by the light of Al-Qur'an. His Majesty emphasises this in the titah during the National Level Nuzul Al-Qur'an Celebration 1444 Hijrah / 2023 at the International Convention Centre in Berakas. His Majesty begins the titah by expressing gratitude to Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala for the opportunity to glorify the month of Ramadhan and celebrate the Revelation of Al-Qur'an. The Revelation of Al-Qur'an, the Monarch stresses, is without doubt a very historic event for the Muslim ummah. Al-Qur'an, His Majesty adds, will forever be protected from any flaws and safe from the threats of malicious elements until the Day of Resurrection.
