​His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, yesterday afternoon attended the Tahlil ceremony for His Majesty's late parents and son, Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien; Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji 'Abdul 'Azim. The ceremony took place at the Royal Mausoleum.

Also in attendance were His Majesty's sons and brother;

His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office;

His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik;

His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen;

And, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah.

Upon arrival, His Majesty was greeted by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Indera Setia Diraja Sahibul Karib Pengiran Anak Haji Idris bin Pengiran Maharaja Lela Pengiran Muda Abdul Kahar, Yang Di-Pertua of Adat Istiadat Negara, AND Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs.

The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar.

His Majesty then poured air asah-asahan or scented water on the tomb of His Majesty's late parents and son.

Also pouring the scented water was His Royal Highness the Crown Prince,

Followed by His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik,

And His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen;

This was then followed by His Royal Highness Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah.
