Us Brits love breakfast, it can't be denied. We take it very seriously, which means we have many turn-offs and rules when it comes to perfecting our beloved fry-ups
Breakfast is said to be the most important meal of the day, so you need to get it right.
But according to Brits, there are lots of mistakes you won't want to fall foul of when it comes to fry-ups.
From beans served on the plate to overcooked dippy eggs, one simple mistake could ruin an otherwise delicious meal.
Thankfully, Researchers at New York Bakery Co took a deep dive into the nation's breakfast habits to lend a helping hand.
And it is a good job considering they found 48% of us are regularly disappointed by brunch or brekkie.

So, there you have it. As foodies likely suspected, burned toast, cremated bacon, and watery poached eggs are all culprits, and there are lots more faux pas.
Perhaps surprisingly, given how seriously we take our grub, 71% of Brits would not complain about an under-par brekkie, though.
One in three of us would go so far as to say it is not the done thing.
But a sixth of Brits would happily post their breakfast fails on social media.
It is an important meal, after all, and the best meal of the day according to two thirds of the 2000 respondents.
