A woman who was trying to remove scrapes from her car was left horrified when one of her favourite products, which is much-loved by cleaning sensation Mrs Hinch, ruined her vehicle

Mrs Hinch fans recommend so many products each day, and the majority of them make things look as good as new.

But one woman has urgently warned people not to use a fan favourite on their cars as it ruined hers, despite the fact at first glance she thought everything was gleaming.

Liya, who posts on TikTok as @liya.leelee, said "Do not, I repeat, do not use this on your car" as she held up a tub of the famously popular 'Pink Stuff'.

She explained that she'd seen a video where a girl had removed scrapes from her car and it worked - so she went ahead and tried it with her own vehicle.

Liya said the woman "raved" about it saying it gets "scrapes and all types of stuff out of the car."

"Okay cool", Liya said. "Monkey see, monkey do", she remarked as she could be seen applying the Pink Stuff to her car with a microfibre cloth.

She said she used "not a lot" of the product, but just enough that she thought it would make her car look as good as new.

"I'm just wiping in circular motions", Liya said, and then she left it for a "minute or two" for what she thought would be the best results.

And when she came to wipe it off with the microfibre cloth, she remarked saying she thought it had worked and looked "amazing."

But she said she came to her car the next day and was horrified to see circular marks left on her car from the cleaning product.

She was gutted as she said that she relies on the Pink Stuff for everything, but in the comments, people were quick to say things like "People really need to start reading the directions on packaging."

This is down to the fact the Pink Stuff website recommends the product for: "saucepans, cooker tops, sinks, uPVC, barbecues, ceramic tiles, glass, showers, garden furniture, paintwork, boats, brass and rust", and sadly not cars.

Someone referred to the product as "liquid sandpaper" on the car.

"And this is why we don't believe everything we see on TikTok no matter how much it may seem believable lol", another fumed.
