His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a congratulatory message to Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Republic of Turkey as well as the Government and people of the Republic of Turkey, on the occasion of Turkey's Republic Day.

In the message to the Turkish President, His Majesty said he very much appreciated the progress that Brunei and the Republic of Turkey have achieved in their bilateral relations in recent years, which have greatly contributed to the deepening of the already long-standing ties of friendship and cooperation.

His Majesty said he looked forward to working closely together with the Turkish President in enhancing the bilateral and international relations in the coming months. His Majesty also extended his kindest regards to the Turkish President.
