​His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, will leave for Amman, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to attend the Royal Wedding Ceremony of the son of His Majesty King Abdullah the Second ibn Al Hussein, the King of Jordan, that is, His Royal Highness Prince Al Hussein, the Crown Prince of Jordan with Miss Rajwa Khalid Alseif.

The Royal Wedding Ceremony, which will be held on 1st June 2023, is also expected to be attended by special guests including members of the Royal Family as well as leaders from other countries.

The attendance of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam to the ceremony will reflect the warmth and closeness of the ties between Brunei Darussalam and Jordan. His Majesty last visited Jordan in October 2018 for a State Visit.
