​The culmination of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF Anniversary Celebration was the Grand Parade involving more than nine hundred RBAF personnel at the Parade Ground of the Royal Brunei Air Force Sports Complex. His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, attended the Grand Parade. Also in attendance were His Majesty's sons, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office; His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik; and His Royal Highness 920 Major Udara Prince 'Abdul Mateen.

Upon arrival, His Majesty was greeted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence; and Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the RBAF.

Shortly after arrival, His Majesty received the Royal Salute. His Majesty then inspected the Grand Parade under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Udara Muhammad Walee bin Haji Roslie.

The slow and fast march past by the parade forces carrying His Majesty's Crest and the RBAF Crest followed the celebration. The cheers of 'Daulat Kebawah Duli Tuan Patik' echoed in the air symbolizing the spirit of all RBAF personnel.

Doa selamat was read by Commander Haji Ainolnizam bin Haji Ibrahim, Royal Brunei Navy, Director of the RBAF Religious Directorate, JAMA'AT. The celebration was enlivened with a fly-past of the Royal Brunei Air Force Blackhawk and CN-235 aircraft.

This year's celebration theme, "Bersama Menjayakan Wawasan Negara" or Together in Accomplishing the National Vision is in line with the role of RBAF in supporting national progress and development holistically.
