​His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, left for Manama, the Kingdom of Bahrain to hold a State Visit that will be held on the 9th to 11th of June 2023. Accompanying His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam was His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen.

Prior to leaving Istana Nurul Iman, Doa Selamat was recited by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar.

Present at His Majesty the Sultan's Flight Hangar in Rimba to bid farewell to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam were members of the Royal Family. Also present at His Majesty the Sultan's Flight Hangar to bid farewell to His Majesty were Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran-Pengiran Cheteria; the Special Advisor to His Majesty; the Speaker of the Legislative Council; Members of the Privy Council; Cabinet Ministers; Deputy Ministers; the Commissioner of Royal Brunei Police Force; and Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
