His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office this morning received in audience Her Excellency Sara Zimmerman Duterte, the Vice President and Secretary of Education of the Republic of the Philippines, who is also the President of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organisation, SEAMEO Council. Her Excellency and delegation are in the country for a working visit to the Ministry of Education, with the aim of strengthening cooperation and bilateral relations in the field of education. Her Excellency is also scheduled to visit two Educational Institutions as well as the SEAMEO VOCTECH Regional Centre. The Audience Ceremony took place at Qashr Al-Meezan.

At the Audience Ceremony, His Royal Highness and Her Excellency discussed on the bilateral relations between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Philippines. Accompanying Her Excellency was Her Excellency Marian Jocelyn R. Tirol-Ignacio, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Philippines to Brunei Darussalam.
