​A local man was sentenced by the Tutong District Magistrate's Court on a charge under the Excise Order 2006 for possessing 17 cartons and a pack of cigarettes of various brands.

37-year-old Mohamad Yusri bin Suhaili pleaded guilty and was fined $17,000 or 13 months imprisonment in default. The arrest was made on the 27th of August 2022 at a house in STKRJ Telisai, Tutong District. All contraband were seized to be destroyed.
