His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, Chairman of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Committee of Governors late yesterday afternoon attended a Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony in conjunction with His Royal Highness' 40th birthday celebration. Organised by Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, the function took place at Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex in the capital.

Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs as member of the Yayasan Committee of Governors; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs as as member of the Yayasan Committee of Governors; Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohammad Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence as Chairman of the Yayasan Board of Directors; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health as Deputy Chairman of the Yayasan Board of Directors; Doctor Nor Imtihan binti Haji Abdul Razak, Permanent Secretary for Planning, Land Use and Environment at the Ministry of Development as the Acting Managing Director of Yayasan.

The ceremony included the Mass Fardhu Maghrib prayer and the reading of Surah Yasin.
