President Presented Credentials Of Foreign Diplomats

 President Bounnhang Vorachit today receive at his office credentials from newly appointed ambassadors from the U.S., Ms Rena Bitter, and from Canada, Ms Donica Pottie.

 

During his bilateral talks with the new diplomats, the president significantly valued the diplomatic relations and cooperation between Laos and their respective countries.

 

President Bounnhang told his guests that their ambassadorial appointments constituted milestones in strengthening the relations and cooperation between Laos and their respective countries.

 

He also wished the new ambassadors success in fulfilling their diplomatic mission in the Lao PDR.

 

In reply, the new diplomats assured the president that they would do their utmost to strengthen the relations and cooperation between their motherlands and the Lao PDR.

 

Laos established diplomatic relations with U.S in 1955 and Canada in 1974.
