His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday received in audience a delegation from the Australia-ASEAN Muslim Exchange Programme, AAMEP.

The Audience took place at Istana Nurul Iman. During their visit to the country, the delegation attended events held in conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 77th Birthday Celebrations, namely the Royal Guard of Honour; Investiture Ceremony; and the Royal Banquet. The AAMEP delegation are in the country for eight days.

The programme provides the opportunity for Muslim community leaders to participate in dialogue and cultural exchange and is co-organised by the Australian Government, Australian-ASEAN Council and MOSAIC Connections.
