Get-Together Ceremony With Citizens And Residents

Citizens and residents in Tutong District gathered to welcome His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam for the Get-Together Ceremony with Citizens and Residents in said District. Held in conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 77th birthday celebration, Tutong District was the second district to receive His Majesty's presence for the ceremony this year. The event took place at the district's Civic Centre Complex Field.
Waving miniature flags, students lined up along the road leading to the Civic Centre Complex Field in Tutong Town to welcome His Majesty.
Upon arrival, His Majesty was welcomed by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs as Chairman of the 77th Royal Birthday Celebration's National Committee.
Accompanying His Majesty were His Majesty's sons and brother:
- His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office;
- His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik
- His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen;
- And His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah.
With the theme 'KEKAL BERAJA, KEKAL BERNEGARA', the special performance combined the concept of modern Islamic and traditional Malay cultural concepts, portraying the integrity of a sovereign Monarch who leads the nation with just and wisdom. The culmination of the special performance combined all performance participants.
Prior to leaving the Get-Together Ceremony with citizens and residents in Tutong District, His Majesty mingled with the performance participants.
