​His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri today left Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia after a State Visit to Malaysia and attending the 24th Annual Leaders' Consultation. Accompanying His Majesty and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri were Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Prior to departure, a Doa Selamat was recited by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Doctor Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz Bin Juned, the State Mufti.

Present at the Subang Air Base to bid farewell to His Majesty and Her Majesty were Yang Berhormat Senator Dato' Setia Doctor Haji Mohd Na'im bin Haji Mokhtar, Minister in the Prime Minister's Office as Minister in Attendance and spouse; and His Excellency Dato' Raja Reza bin Raja Zaib Shah, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam and spouse, as well as senior officials from the Government of Malaysia. Also present was His Excellency Retired Brigadier General Dato Paduka Haji Mahmud bin Haji Saidin, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Malaysia, and spouse.

During the State Visit, His Majesty and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri made a courtesy call with His Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda the 16th Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia and Her Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda the Raja Permaisuri Agong; and had a meeting with Yang Amat Berhormat Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia for the 24th Annual Leaders' Consultation. A Treaty and two Memoranda of Understanding between the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and the Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam with the Government of Malaysia were signed during the 24th Annual Leaders' Consultation.
