In the afternoon, His Royal Highness Prince Doctor Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office as well as Pro-Chancellor of UBD conferred Masters Degrees, Graduate Diplomas and DIPLOMAS to 314 graduates. The ceremony took place at the UBD Chancellor Hall.

The ceremony commenced with the recitation of surah Al-Fatihah led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar.

Upon arrival, His Royal Highness Prince was greeted by Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Doctor Dayang Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh, Minister of Education and Doctor Hazri bin Haji Kifle, Vice Chancellor of UBD.

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince then conferred Masters Degrees and Diplomas to graduates.

268 graduates completed their Masters in various fields namely Education, Management, Engineering, Science, Literature, Public Policy, Defence and Security Studies. While, 4 graduates received Graduate Diplomas and 42 received Diplomas in Education.

Doa selamat was read by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim.

UBD continues to ensure that its programmes and Curriculum are up-to-date to equip graduates with various skills and quality education.
