After conferring the Doctor of Philosophy, PhD and Bachelor's degrees, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam viewed the special exhibition on scientific discoveries and latest innovation.

Among those showcased was 'Career BN', an online portal by the School of Digital Science.

The effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccines, a joint research by the Pengiran Anak Puteri Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah Institute of Health Sciences and Duke-NUS Medical School, the Republic of Singapore was also highlighted.

Also on display was the result of a genomic study to research the therapeutic potential of Bunga Simpur by the Environmental and Life Science researchers from the Faculty of Science.

His Majesty's presence at UBD's 35th Convocation Ceremony is an inspiration to UBD to continue strengthening its position as an internationally renowned higher education institution that contributes to the development of the country.
