​471 graduates received the Doctor of Philosophy, PhD, Masters and Bachelors Degree; Post Graduate Diploma; Higher National Diploma, HND; and National Diploma, ND in various disciplines as well as the Special Degree for 30 Juzuk Al-Qur'an Memorisation at the 13th Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA's Haflut Takharruj or Convocation. His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam as Chancellor of UNISSA conferred the degrees and diplomas to the graduates. The ceremony took place on 30th August morning, at the International Convention Centre in Berakas.

The ceremony commenced with the recital of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Doctor Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, State Mufti.

Upon arrival, His Majesty was greeted by Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Doctor Dayang Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd. Salleh, Minister of Education; and Doctor Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, Rector of UNISSA. Also present was His Royal Highness Prince Doctor Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, as Pro-Chancellor of UNISSA.

Al-Quran reading was presented by Awang Abdul Haziq Syarafuddin bin Haji Abdul Habib, Bachelor of Usuluddin (Tahfiz and Qiraat) graduate, while the Al-Hadith was presented by Awang Abdul Rahim bin Haji Mohd Arsat, Bachelor of Usuluddin graduate.

In his welcoming speech, the Rector of UNISSA highlighted several new academic programmes that will be offered next semester. His Majesty then officiated the conferment of doctorate, degrees and diplomas to the graduates.

Out of 471 graduates, seven were conferred PhD's; 73 received the Masters Degree; 10 were presented the Post Graduate Diploma; 358 were conferred the Bachelor's Degree; 21 received the Higher National Diploma; one was presented the National Diploma; while another graduate was presented the Special Degree for 30 Juzuk Al-Qur'an Memorisation.

UNISSA's success of earning five-star rating for the period 2023 to 2026 is a proof of UNISSA's internationally recognised quality. Innovation, feasibility and impact are the main criteria that enable UNISSA to maintain its performance at the top 201 to 300 for 2 years in a row. Doa Selamat was read by the State Mufti.

The establishment of the Sinaut Campus and its permanent campus in Mukim Labu, Temburong District is hoped to realise UNISSA's aspiration of becoming a global Islamic higher education hub.
