​His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and  Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah stresses that Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA can work together to eradicate poverty in the country by carrying out appropriate research. His Majesty in the titah says that the research outcomes can identify ways to help the affected groups through income generation and improvement of standard of living and eventually getting out of the cycle of poverty. His Majesty emphasised this in a titah at UNISSA's 13th Haflut Takharruj, 30th August morning. In the titah His Majesty first congratulates the graduates receiving the degrees and diplomas. The Monarch says the degrees and diplomas are a symbol of the success of the graduates who have completed studies in their respective fields at UNISSA. The Monarch also congratulates and gives appreciation to the parents, guardians and academic workforce for their efforts and sacrifice towards the graduates' success.
