In the afternoon, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam attended the Opening of the ASEAN-Indo-Pacific Forum held at Mulia Hotel in Jakarta. Accompanying His Majesty was His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen.

 The ASEAN-Indo-Pacific Forum was officiated by His Excellency Joko Widodo, President of the Republic of Indonesia. His Excellency among other things explained the forum serves as a platform to discuss the development of green infrastructure and resilient supply chain; sustainable and innovative financing; inclusive digital transformation; and creative economy. After the Opening Ceremony, His Majesty with the other ASEAN leaders proceeded to visit the showcase of innovation projects conducted in the Indo-Pacific.
