Brumas Warriors emerged champions of the maiden Team Veteran Badminton Championship 2016 at the Youth Centre in Bandar Seri Begawan yesterday.

In second place were Tanjung Nangka 'B', followed by YBs 'A' in third.

The championship was also participated by Pangkalan Batu, YBs 'B' and Tanjung Nangka 'A'.

Each team comprised 12 players, who took part in the Master category (55 to 59 years) and Grand Master (60 years above).

The Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Dato Paduka Dr. Haji Affendy bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, presented the trophies and medals.
