Since John Lewis released its 2016 Christmas advert, pets everywhere have been inspired to get on the trampoline.
We’ve seen boxers, shi tzus, labs and more getting out in the garden to bounce, health and safety be damned, after the shop’s 2016 Christmas advert showed a dog doing the same.
But one man claims he now regrets it…
Phil Brunskill sent a photo to the John Lewis comms team, along with this message:
Dear John
Further to your advert the kids thought it would be a great idea to put the cockapoo on the trampoline… See photo attached.
Thanks & have a great Christmas.
Thankfully for Phil’s dog (he wouldn’t be getting many biscuits otherwise), we think it was a joke.
Even so, it has been shared almost 20,000 times and plenty of people have got worked up about his parenting skills anyway
However funny that response might be, though, the crown goes to this boxer dog who was inspired to jump up and down while watching it on TV, melting our hearts even more than the original in the process.
