No Show Again By Jamal

 November 19th, 2016  |  08:20 AM  |   926 views

KUALA LUMPUR

Red Shirt leader Datuk Seri Jamal Yunos failed to turn up for his own press conference for the second time in a day.

The second press conference was scheduled for 10pm Friday at Masjid Negara after he missed the first one at 2.30pm at the same place.

Media personnel turned up both times but only saw a handful of Red Shirts there.

Attempts to call Jamal on the phone went unanswered.

Earlier in the day, Jamal did not show up at a Red Shirt gathering at the National Mosque in Kuala Lumpur in what was supposed to be a "pep talk" for his supporters.

Sources close to Jamal told the waiting media at 5pm that he was "unreachable" for the time being and his whereabouts were unknown.

Despite the presence of roughly 100 supporters who had waited for Jamal since 2pm, the press conference failed to take place.
