LONDON
All the key figures ahead of Manchester United's clash with Arsenal, including Arsene Wenger's barren run at Old Trafford.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has called on his players to prove that last season's loss at Manchester United was a blip and said the Gunners do not have mental hangups about playing at Old Trafford.
Arsenal face Jose Mourinho's side on Saturday, looking for their first Premier League victory at United since 2006 and keen to make amends for February's 3-2 loss.
The Londoners had been favourites for that game against an under-strength United but went 2-0 down and never recovered, with their title challenge crumbling soon afterwards.
But Wenger pointed out that was the only away league game Arsenal had lost in 2016 and said he was confident there would not be a repeat on Saturday.
"That game was an exception," he told a news conference. "On that day we didn't turn up with a performance, so that does not mean it is the normality -- it is the exception of the year.
"We have to show on Saturday that is was the exception, and we have to turn up."
Wenger was quick to dismiss the idea that Arsenal have a mental block about playing at United.
"No, not at all," he said. "What is happening today is, when you fail one time people say: 'Oh, they failed, they will fail again.'
"Life is not like that. If you turn up 25 times and you lose one game, people take that one game as a normality. No. You have to turn up the 25 times before, believe me."
