Kathryn Bernardo's Mom Thanks Manila Bulletin For Daughter's Newsmaker Of The Year Award

Min Bernardo, the mother of Asia's Superstar Kathryn Bernardo, took to social media to thank the Manila Bulletin for her daughter's Newsmaker of the Year Award.
"Maraming, maraming salamat po. Forever grateful," wrote Mrs. Bernardo on X after she shared a post of Thess Gubi of ABS-CBN Corporate Communications, who received the award for the actress.
Kathryn was on vacation in Melbourne, Australia, when the Manila Bulletin Newsmaker of the Year Award was held at the Manila Hotel on Feb. 15.
During the awarding ceremonies, Kathryn thanked the Manila Bulletin through a video presentation.
"Maraming salamat po sa bumubnuo ng Manila Bulletin para sa Newsmaker of the Year award in the field of entertainment," the actress said in part.
Kathryn was recognized for winning Best Actress at the Seoul International Drama Awards 2023 for her role in the TV series '2 Good 2 Be True' with Daniel Padilla. She holds the record as the first Filipino actress who breached the P800 million mark for her two movies: The Hows of Us with Daniel Padilla (2018) and Hello Love, Goodbye (2019).
Previously, Kathryn already thanked the 124-year-old news publication for being named the Manila Bulletin Newsmaker of the Year in Entertainment on social media. "Truly honored for this acknowledgement."
Netizens also congratulated Kathryn on her latest accolade.
Other winners of the Manila Bulletin's inaugural Newsmaker of the Year award were Mayor Joy Belmonte of Quezon City, Gilas Pilipinas basketball team, Tagbilaran Province, Jeremy De Leon, Expedock, Magdaleno Gamayo, Aboitiz Equity Ventures, Sarisuki, and Kindred PH.
