The number of new converts continue to grow in the country, as more people from different races and background chose Islam as their new faith. An Iban woman recited the Islamic Oath on 5th April late aftenoon, at a conversion ceremony in Kampung Batang Duri, Temburong District.

78-year-old Aja Anak Bana is now known as Asiyah binti Abdullah Bana. The ceremony was enlivened with the Dikir Marhaban and souvenir presentation to the new convert. To date, 4 people from Temburong District have converted to Islam.
