The Collection Period of the Palestinian Humanitarian Fund in Gaza 2023 has been extended for another three months until the 18th of July 18 2024. The extension is to give the public the opportunity to continue charitable activities and donations to the Palestinian in Gaza. The Fund National Committee informed that the extension is with the consent of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.

The extension of the collection period for the second time also takes into account the situation/fighting that is happening in Gaza which is increasing and the people are experiencing famine and human catastrophe. At the same time, it means that humanitarian aid is still very much needed. The Palestinian Humanitarian Fund in Gaza 2023 is provided by the Government as a platform for the public to make financial donations to help ease the burden and suffering faced by the Palestinian in Gaza. As of the 3rd of April 2024, the fund collection is amounting to more than $3,264,000 and a total of more than $1,399,000 has been used for the delivery of humanitarian aid to Palestine by "air-drop" in the form of ready-to-eat food packets. Therefore, the balance of the fund as of the 3rd of April is more than $1,865,000.
