​More than 130 tree saplings were planted during the World Earth Day Celebration by Chung Hwa Kiudang School in Tutong District, 30th April morning. The activity is part of the school's continuous effort to reach its mission of 'School in the Garden'.

Present was Awang Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri, Acting Tutong District Officer. Also held earlier was a presentation of prizes to winners of the Drawing and Colouring Contest in conjunction with the celebration, participated by the school pupils. The tree planting activity among other thing aims to raise the awareness of the school community on the responsibility of maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the school environment.
