173 officers and staff of the Prime Minister's Office and its departments who retired in 2022 were feted at a Retirement Certificate Presentation Ceremony. The ceremony was held on 2nd May morning, at the Prime Minister's Office.

In attendance was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohammad Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence. Awang Ajman bin Haji Meludin, Permanent Secretary for Civil Service Governance at the Prime Minister's Office in a speech among other things highlighted that retirement is not the end in contributing towards the people and the nation. The certificate presentation acted as a show of appreciation for the retired officers and staff.
