The National Oratory Competition cultivates love and patriotism for the country. Held in conjunction with the 40th Brunei Darussalam National Day celebration and Language Month 2023, the competition's final took place this morning at the Language and Literature Bureau, Berakas.

Prizes to the winners were presented by Yang Berhormat Pengiran Haji Isa bin Pengiran Haji Aliuddin, Member of the Legislative Council. Emerging champion was Awang Muhammad Iqbaal Syakib bin Haji Suhib, a private participant. 

Second place went to Dayang Nurkhairah Afiqah binti Metamit from Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University while Awang Muhd. Syahir Aqil bin Haji Muhd. Saiful Nurrizam from Hassanal Bolkiah Boys Arabic Secondary  School came in third.
