A ghost hunter claims a person-shaped spirit in an abandoned hospital told him to ‘watch his back’.

Lee Smart was at the dilapidated Mountain Ash Hospital near Caerphilly, Wales, with his team from Twisted Paranormal to film the spooky goings-on.

While watching the building – which has been derelict since it closed in 2007 – Lee claims he saw a shape of a person watching them back.

Later that night, he says he recorded a voice telling him: ‘You watch your back, ha ha ha, ’cause I’ll kill you.’

‘Straight away we started hearing “get out”,’ Lee said. ‘My name was called. It wanted to kill me, it wanted me out of the hospital for some reason. There was no faking, there was no rubbish. We were doing them live.’

He said that after they shared the footage from the hospital visit, it ‘went insane’ online.

Anthony Mark, one of Lee’s colleagues who was also on the scene, added: ‘I can’t say it’s 100% paranormal as it could have been someone up there, but we didn’t see anyone.

‘We did a complete walkthrough the whole place and checked around everywhere and now one was there.

‘We even heard a growl while in there and then looked to see if it was someone but no one was there.

‘I have been doing this for 10 years now and it’s one of the most active places I have been.’
