Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (YSHHB) Primary School held a prize and certificate presentation ceremony for its Years 1-5 students yesterday.


Among those receiving the awards were Pengiran Qaiyimah Nurul Bolkiah binti Pengiran Haji Mohammad Hakimmuddin, the granddaughter of His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah; and Pengiran Nur Aabidah
Syifa binti Pengiran Anak Haji Mohammed Al-Mokhtar, the granddaughter of Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, the Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.


The guest of honour of the event was Haji Puasa bin Haji Jumat, the Assistant Managing Director II of Yayasan, who later presented prizes and certificates to the school's outstanding students.

 

Alimas bin Haji Md Ali, the Acting Principal of YSHHB
Primary School, said that the event was held as an appreciation of the students who had displayed outstanding achievements in both their academic and non-academic activities, as well as exemplary behaviour.The ceremony was enlivened with some songs, dancing and other stage performances.


Also in attendance was Hajah Donaliza binti Abdullah Puasa, the Assistant Managing Director III of Yayasan, as well as the parents and guardians of the students.
