A Khatam Al-Quran ceremony was held yesterday for 105 students from Dull Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah College (MDPMAMB) to mark the completion of their Al-Quran studies.

The event's guest of honour was Dr Haji Adanan bin Haji Basar, the Acting Ra'es of Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB).

Also in attendance was Hajah Monaliza binti Haji Abdul Halim, the Acting Principal of MDPMAMB.
The ceremony commenced with a mass recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, led by the guest ofhonour, which was then followed by readings of selected chapters from the Al-Quran by the Khatam participants.

The Takhtim was recited by Nurul Wahidatul Fikriyah binti Ashawary, while the Doa Khatam was recited by Luqmanul Hakeem bin Haji Rozaini, A mass recital of the Dikir Marhaban was also performed by the male hostel students, while thy Khatam participants were sprinkled with scented flowers, then presented with souvenirs and certificates.

The event concluded with a Doa Selamat recitation by Ustaz Syed Mohsen bin Syed Abdul Rahman Al-. Kaff.
