75 SMJA Students Participate in Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony

A total of 75 students of the Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam Secondary School (SMJA) were celebrated upon completing the recitation of the 30 Juzuks of Al-Quran in a Khatam ceremony held Thursday at the Jame Asr Hassanil Bolkiah in Kampong Kiarong.
Present as the guest of honour was the Chairman of the Parents Teacher Association (PIBG) of SMJA, Haji Haji bin Haji Othman.
The event began with a mass recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by the guest of honour followed with the recitation of verses from the Al-Quran by the Khatam participants.
It later continued with the recitations of Doa Takhtim and Doa Khatam. It then proceeded with the Dikir Marhaban which also saw the presentation of certificates to the Khatam participants from the guest of honour.
The ceremony then ended with a Doa Selamat.
