St George's School Conduct Graduation Ceremony for Year 11 Students

A graduation ceremony was held for Year 6 and Year 11 students of St George's School recently. The ceremony was held at the Multipurpose Hall, Fire and Rescue Department, Old Airport, Berakas.

 


Present as the guest of honour of the event was Anthony Liew Vun Chiang, the Chairman of the School Board of Governors. Janidi Jingan, the Principal of St George's School in his speech mentioned that graduation ceremony is a special occasion and a proud day for the graduating students.

 

He also thanks the parents for their support towards their child's education and for playing an active
role in their child's life as well as for their attendance at the graduation ceremony to celebrate their child's `rite of passage'.

 

The ceremony then proceeded with speeches given by Nadine Kong Xiang Ying of Year 6 and Dominic Cayetano Santomin of Year 11.

 

The graduates then were presented with their graduation certificates. Attendees of the event were then treated to dance performances and a violin performance by the students of St George's School.

 

The ceremony ended with a graduation song sung by all the graduates.
