Over 50 Students Attend Graduation Ceremony

The Haji Mohd Jaafar Maun Primary School recently held a graduation ceremony for its Year 11 and pre-school students. The event was held at Balai Sarmayuda Hall of the Language and Literature Bureau at the Old Airport in Berakas.
The graduation was held in celebrating and acknowledging the achievement ofthe pre-schoolers as well as the completion of the Year 6 students before they stepped into the secondary level.
Present as the guest of honour was Mariana Chek binti Bujang, Acting Special Duties Officer (Professional) of the Department of Schools, Ministry of Education.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, Surah Ar-Rahman and a Doa Selamat by Ustaz Abdul Latif bin Haji Kamis followed by a welcoming remark from the guest of honour and the school's Principal, Cikgu Hajah Noraini binti Haji Timbang.
The highlight of the event was the convocation of 34 Year 6 students and 20 pre-schoolers who received their certificates from the guest of honour. Special awards were also presented to selected students who excelled in academic and non-academic according to various categories.
