Micronet International College Conducted Fire Drill

Micronet International College (MIC) conducted an in-house fire drill at their Jerudong campus on Monday as part of their plans to raise the level of awareness on fire safety and security procedures.
The drill began at 9.25am with false smoke being set on the second floor of one of the college's premises.
The smoke later triggered the fire alarm system of the college.
Upon hearing the siren of the fire alarm system, the college's chief fire marshal and senior fire marshals rushed to evacuate the buildings.
The team guided about 230 staff members and students safely to the designated assembly point.
The fire drill was led by the Station Officer Tuan Pengiran Zulaini bin Pengiran Haji Bakar together with Deputy Station Officer Abdul Hamid bin Haji Bakar and Pengiran Alita bin Pengiran Haji Aji from the Fire and Rescue Department Operation Branch 'F', Kampong Pengkalan Batu.
The General Manager of MIC, Sharon Chin was also present to witness the emergency evacuation flow
This fire drill has provided the staff members tactical experience, sufficient knowledge and training to calmly handle circumstances that might arise during emergencies.
