45 Students Honoured at St John's School Graduation

Forty-five Year 11 students of St John's School (SJS) were feted during a graduation day that was held recently. Year 11 prefects also received certificates of appreciation during the event

 


The event began with the singing of national anthem and the school song followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Cikgu Noll.

 

A welcoming speech was delivered by Dr Teh Keng, the school's Principal who reminded the students that this occasion marked the beginning of the next most important phase of the graduates' life in their pursuit of education.

 

The ceremony continued with the presentation of certificated to the graduates by the school's chairman and principal.

 

Aica Jannine Leong and Sharmane Joy P Goyena represented the graduates in expressing their appreciation to the Chairman, Principal, their teachers and parents.

 

During the ceremony, the SJS String Band and Year 10 students held a performance and the event concluded with the finale songs performed by the graduates.
