OKBI Primary School Hold Convocation Ceremony

The Orang Kaya Besar Imas (OKBI) Primary School, Subok Cluster 4 recently held a convocation ceremony for preschoolers and Year 6 pupils.

 

A prize and certificate of appreciation presentation was also held during the event for students who had excelled in their academic studies and co-curricular activities throughout the year.

 

The guest of honour was Pengiran Hajah Fatimah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh, the Working Committee Head of Cluster, Education Office, Cluster 4, Department of Schools of the Ministry of Education. Also present were Sarimah binti Haji Mina, the school's headmistress, assistant headmaster, teachers and parents.

 

The event, held at the Municipal Hall of Kg Belimbing, began with the singing of the national anthem and the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat led by Ustaz Haji Saifullizan bin Haji Abdullah. This was followed by the reading of verses from the Al-Quran by Nur Itqan binti Raimi, Year 6B student.

 

After the presentation of graduation certificates and prizes, students then performed songs and dances to enliven the event.
