The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) and departments under it last night held a Dikir ceremony in conjunction with the Maulud Nabi celebration 1438H.

The ceremony was held at the Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah.

Attending as the guest of honour was Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ibrahim, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Minister of Finance II.

Also present were Dato Paduka Awang Haji Hamdan bin Haji Abu Bakar, Acting Minister of Energy and Industry at the Prime Minister's Office; permanent secretaries; deputy permanent secretaries; heads of departments; officers and personnel at the PMO and departments under it.

The ceremony began with a mass Maghrib prayer followed by the recitation of Dikir.

A similar event will be held on Thursday, 8th of Rabiulawal 1438H corresponding to December 8 at the Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque and on Sunday, 12th of Rabiulawal 1438H corresponding to December 11 at the Ash-Shaliheen Mosque.
