A 45-year-old local man was charged in the Magistrate's Court yesterday with outraging the modesty of an under-aged boy, but no plea was taken as the police are probing the case further.

Dayemo @ Abdul Aziz bin Haji Moktal asked Magistrate Hajah Ervy Sufitriana binti Haji Abdul Rahman to release him on bail, but his request was rejected as the Magistrate considered DPP Sharon Yeo's application for the defendant to be remanded at the Central Police Station until investigations are completed as more reasonable.

Dayemo now faces a charge of molesting a 13 year-old boy's in which criminal force was involved to outrage his modesty.

The incident allegedly took place between 2am to 4.30am sometime in December 2015 at a house in RPN Kampong Panchor, Mengkubau.

DPP Sharon informed the court that more victims might have been involved.

The Magistrate fixed the case for further mention on April 18.
