The High Court yesterday fixed April 21 for sentencing after convicting an army man of raping a minor girl.

SLD Mohammad Amirol bin Haji Abdul Razak raped the 13-year-old victim at the Corporal Club, Tutong Camp at 2am on August 25, 2014, according to the statement of facts.

Justice Dato Paduka Steven Chong found DPP Sharon Yeo's evidence against the defendant sufficient to prove the case beyond the court's reasonable doubt.

The defendant was represented by Messrs Hale Zainidi Ong.
