FIBA Expert Urge BBA to Build Proper Basketball Courts

FIBA expert in coaching yesterday said in order enhance the game of basketball in Brunei, The Brunei Basketball Association (BBA) first need to build a proper basketball court or center with proper facilities of air-conditioning because the current venue too humid to play in.
The need of a new proper venue to train was praised by Zoran Prelevic, FIBA expert in coaching who was in Brunei Darussalam to conduct a basketball coaching clinic from December 1-7 at the Batu Bersurat Basketball Court.
In his remark during the closing event of the coaching clinic, Zoran Prelevic said that basketball is a simple and beautiful game and it is important for coaches to change their mindset to be able to build and teach players to play.
Coaches also need to recognise talented players and groom them properly, instead of just watching from the sideline. Lim Ting Guan, the Chairman of Brunei Basketball Association presented the certificates of participation to the recipients. Some 24 individuals took part in the one-week coaching clinic.
Also in attendance were Lim Ting Chai, the Vice Chairman, and Khoo Eng Cheong, Deputy Chairman of BBA as well as other members.
