Imams in yesterday's Friday sermon urged Muslims to emulate the example set by the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), in view of the upcoming celebrations for Maulidur Rasul on Monday (December 12).

"The Prophet (pbuh) had noble qualities in his character, and did not hesitate to guide his Ummah on the path of righteousness," said Imams during the sermon.

"As the Ummah of the Prophet (pbuh), we must follow the example that he set in terms of his daily speech and character. We should also reflect on the exemplary life of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and embrace his teachings, in order to be granted security by Allah the Almighty.

"The Prophet Muhammad's (pbuh) patience, kindness and humility are the attributes that we need to adopt, so that we may forever be blessed under the protection of Allah the Almighty."

The sermon concluded by encouraging Muslims to recite the Selawat (salutations and blessings) for the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to obtain Allah the Almighty's grace and mercy in the hereafter.
