Nasi Katok Triumphs in 3x3 Championship

Nasi Katok cruised to an easy victory in the final of the open category of the 3x3 Basketball Championship over Chicken King, winning 21-7 at Brunei Basketball Court on Sunday.


Chicken King could not stop the Nasi Katok's towering Zainul, who finished with nine points.


Lim Liang Wei scored four points for Chicken King.


Third place went to Da Fat Chef after they defeated Street Roc A 17-15.


However, the highlight of the finals was the U-23 category as W-Strike came from behind to beat YTE 21-20.


Th winning shot came in the dying seconds from Jeremy Chu, who sunk a three-pointer to deliver the title.
Third place went to Street Roc who defeated Bromance 22-18.


In the U-16 category, Sparkies fought off BYD Alpha 21-17 in the final to lift the championship trophy.

 

Third place went to Swek Bunnies after overcoming BYD Rock 11-9.


Lim Ting Chai, chairman of Brunei Basketball Association, presented the prizes.
