Chief Magistrate Muhammed Faisal bin Pehin Dato Kefli ordered the captain and his crewmen were to be remanded.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Emily Goh will be allowed more time to study the case and for the police to conduct further investigations.

The prosecution also informed the court that they are looking into a suspicious amount of RM15,000 which was found in a locker on the ship.
