Malaysian Smuggler Fined $1,0000

A 26 year Malaysian man was ordered to pay $10,000 in fines after he pleaded guilty in the Magistrate's Court yesterday to possession of smuggled vaping apparatus ,cigarettes, and vaping liquid.
Failing to order the fine within the given period, Fadrizal bin Johari will be ordered to serve eight months in jail.
The customs prosecutor's facts of the case showed that Fadrizal was driving his car with a passenger. The car arrived at the Sungai Tujoh Control Post at 11pm on December 13, 2016.
Customs examiners inspected the defendant's car and found that he had 25 cartons of undeclared cigarettes and a set of vaping apparatus as well as two bottles of vaping liquid.
