Some 180 Year 9 students from Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Science College (MSPSBS) received certificates during the closing ceremony of the 12th Qiadah Camp 2016 (MSPSBS Student Leadership Camp) at the Auditorium of MSPSBS recently.

The three-day camp was filled with activities to nurture the abilities of participants as well as develop confidence and self discipline. Among the activities were BSB Rendezvous, Bukit Shahbandar Challenge, amazing Science-themed activities, three-in-one challenges and a Master Chef Competition.

According to Dayang Hajah Hashimawati binti Haji Mohamad, Acting Principal of MSPSBS and chairperson of the ceremony, the participation of students in the Qiadah Camp can help instil valuable and admirable values and provide a wonderful experience. The closing ceremony saw the performance of 'Science Edutainment' by participants of the camp which was followed by the presentation of certificates.

The 12th Qiadah Camp sought to expose students with new everyday life experiences and improve creativity, logical thinking, communication skills, leadership and teamwork.

It also acted as part of the school's initiative and commitment to the community in promoting an active and positive lifestyle.
